Welcome
Blackpool Boat Angling Club is based at Squires Gate Slipway FY1 1SY.
Our large, CCTV-monitored compound and tractor house, situated just 50 metres from the beach, houses our 3 four-wheel drive tractors, all equipped with electric winches for easy boat retrieval.
We offer 24/7 launching and retrieval (weather permitting), and boast good fishing close by. Summer brings bass, mackerel, tope, flatfish, gurnard, and smooth-hound, while winter offers cod and whiting. Offshore wrecks are available for the more adventurous.
Our boathouse can hold 17 boats (subject to availability), and we currently have approximately 57 boats in the club.
Excellent facilities
BBAC has three tractors available for launching and recovery of member's boats at any state of tide.
Boat angling around the Fylde coast
The location of the club offers a great platform to explore the a wide range of fishing grounds around the Fylde coast including the Ribble Estuary, Morecambe Bay and offshore wrecks.
New members are always welcome
With regular member meetings, club competitions and plenty of helpful and experienced members available to provide support and advice, BBAC is welcoming and family -friendly.
