Great value for money!
For only £100 a year (plus a one-off £100 registration fee), you get full, unlimited access to the club facilities, including the tractors, giving complete flexibility to launch your boat whenever you want (weather permitting!).
For an extra £5 you can add your partner as a member, and under 16s are free.
Crewman membership is just £50 a year.
Many councils charge much more than this just to use a concrete slipway for a year!
How do I join?
New members are always welcome and the membership year runs from June to June, but new members can join at any time. Please just complete and submit a membership application form to the club Secretary (details on form), or just get in touch if you have any questions using the contact details below.
New members receive tractor tuition, a key for the compound and the tractor house, and safety advice upon joining - all vessels require a (free) safety check each year, and the checklist for the equipment you'll need can be found here. Help with launching and retrieving is available if required. We accept boats up to 18ft with a draft of 1ft or less- boats must be easily launchable and recoverable from/to a trailer (see Frequently asked questions for more information on trailer requirements).
We hold monthly members' meetings and run various Club Competitions and Open Matches throughout the year, with the AGM usually held in July.
For any queries, please complete the form and someone will be back in touch shortly. Alternatively, please feel free to reach out by email (blackpoolboatanglingclub@gmail.com) or WhatsApp, or visit the BBAC Facebook page using the links below.
Boat House
Subject to availability, members can store their boat in BBAC's boat house for only £230 per year. The boat house is located around 1/2 mile from the tractor house. Members with boats stored in the boat house have 24/7 access to the secure storage facility. Please note - there is currently a waiting list for boat house storage.
